How long on average does it take for a credit card to be considered inactive?
I have a credit card that I just recently paid off and am concerned with how long I can keep a zero balance on the card without the card being considered inactive. The card is a Chase Freedom.

Instead of being concerned about how long you can keep the card inactive, consider having a regular, recurring bill such as cable/satellite charged to that card every month, and pay the card off just as you would without charging it.  It keeps the card active which is good since the more available credit you have, the better your score.
