bankruptcy to fall off if filled in 2005

It falls off from the discharge date not the filled date.  Depending on if it was chapter 7 or 13 time will be either 7 or 10 years.

Order Your Credit Report

If you order your credit report all three of the reports will have a date when it should come off.  You can get free credit reports if you have been denied credit or in most states are entitled to one from each credit agency once a year.  Search online for Free annual credit report.  It will ask you to put in some information to verify who you are but I get them every year free of charge.

Bankruptcy reported date.

With a Chapter 13 bankruptcy the item comes off of the report 7 years after the filing date.  I have a credit report before me that states the date.
