How long does a charge off stay on your report?
Had a credit card charge off in 2007, how long does that stay on my report? It has been 10 years and it is still there, and it has affected a loan for me.

If that is the case it should've been removed years ago. Charge offs on most debt are only allowed to remain for seven years. Are you absolutely sure that the account is showing negative information? Double check to be sure and if it is showing negative info, dispute the account with the credit bureaus listing it for it being too old to be reported. Transunion, Equifax and Experian all have websites.
