How long before chapter 11 bankruptcy is removed from your record

Did you mean Chapter 13?

Chapter 13 is removed 7 years after your payment plan was approved by the court (which usually means 2 years after the bankruptcy was discharged, if you did a 5-year plan). For example, I personally got a Chapter 13 bankruptcy done (hospital bills, yay!) in 2010, and it was successfully discharged in 2015. It will fall off of my credit report at the end of this year (2017).

PS: Chapter 11 is a business-restructuring bankruptcy... individuals don't normally get those :)
