how in heavens name can my report go down a few points when i pay all my bills on time and
my most recent usage of a credit card was paid in full way before the due date?? that makes absolutely NO SENSE especially since i have very little debt!!!

Forgot to add that if your recent card usage was reported than your utlization went up. Therefore, you may see is temp drop in score. Utilization has a short memory...should rebound quickly. FYI, most credit card compoanies report balances on the statement cut date.

There is no 100% certain answer to this BUT it's commonly believed that having a regular/steady ~10% reported utilization is the sweet spot for scoring.
