Most negative information will remain on your credit reports for 7 years. Accounts that were positive accounts closed in good standing will remain for 10+ years. Never try to remove accounts that were closed in good standing as doing so would cause harm to your credit profile and scores.

You can't

if the account is valid, there is no way to get rid of them.  Closed accounts will stay on your report for 3-7 years, depending on your state. They are part of your credit history.
