Also.... If you get a secured card, use it responsily for six months.  After that try to get a unsecured card after that.  If you do get a unsecured card from Cap1, more then likely you would be abe to get two.  Quick silver 1 and there Platnum card.  Having more  then one card will help you.  But remember to be very responsible with your credit usage.  Never pay late, Never miss a payment, and only leave 1-9% on your card.

Start with getting a credit card.  If you have no credit now you might have to get a secured card.  But try getting one from Cap1 first.
