The first step is an extensive amount of reading. Designate an hour or two a day for the next month or so to read about credit topics. There is a wealth of information on this site and across the internet as well. It is very important to know what you are doing before you start working on your credit as it is easy to make wrong decisions that cause more harm than good. Once you educate yourself on credit, then you work to remove the bad stuff from your reports and work to build new accounts and use them in the best way to grow your scores. Any more specific questions along the way, feel free to ask on here and we will try to help you out.
