Go to annualcreditreport.com.  The information should be showing there. You might want to check the statute of limitations for collections since it varies by state.  If the age of the debt is older than the SOL for your state, it is considered uncollectable and payment is not required.

Before you proceed, do some reading about paying old debts, there is a lot for you to understand. You need to do some reading on PAY FOR DELETE AGREEMENTS and STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS TO BE SUED FOR DEBT IN YOUR STATE and CREDIT REPORTING TIME PERIOD FOR NEGATIVE ACCOUNTS.

Once you have read up on all of that and you decide that you are going to pay it, Google the collection companies name that is showing on your credit reports and start investigating on who they are and what their website or contact info is. If you come up with nothing there, then dispute the account with the credit bureaus and if they don't delete it, maybe at least you can find out the contact info by disputing. Or you may be able to contact the credit bureaus and ask them to give you the company info on the company on your reports. If you go to pay it make sure that you try to get a PAY FOR DELETE AGREEMENT, because if you don't, paying it off may not help you much.
