If you are planning on doing it online, you can go to the Equifax website and click on the dispute link and get into the dispute area with your name and social security number. If you are planning on calling them or mailing them, then you may be able to provide your name, address, social security number and account number or partial account number of the account you wish to dispute if it is in fact an account that you are disputing. Or pull your reports directly from the bureaus and you will get report numbers.
