What came off? Good account or bad account? Do you have limited information on your credit? If so, the removal of bad accounts can cause score decreases with Vantage scores as it seems to happen to many. Regardless of how Vantage reacts to removing negative info, removing negative info is a huge plus. If you have developed FICO scores you should check them somewhere. You should also work on building accounts that are open and in good standing if you haven't done so yet.
