how do i deal with debt older than ten years?
i was called for a debt on a car i got a loan for back in 2001 its 20 14 if my last payment was in 03 how do i respond

Phone call?? NO!!! Tell them to put it in writing.  Also, check Statute of Limitations for Collections and see what it is in your state.  A couple have a 10 year SOL, but most are 6 or less.  That would make the debt uncollectable due to the SOL and these folks can just discontinue attempts at collection or you file a complaint with the FTC.
