How do I close store credit cards
Will closing 2 store credit cards, free up more credit that I could get a Visa or MasterCard?

unless they charge you a fee, NEVER CLOSE A CREDIT ACCOUNT. Closing Store cards will lower your available credit and lower your credit score, Making it less likely that you would be granted a Visa or Mastercard. 

It does not "Free Up more credit" It will shorten your credit history and it actually lowers your available credit and your credit score. 

Educate yourself on how credit really works by using some of the free info here on CK and other sites, try  moneymanagement.org as well
