How do I clear a credit card on my report that's not mine?
My Credit Karma report shows a credit card amount on my report that went from $300+ to over $2000.00 in a matter of a 2 months.. With the info on the report I can't even tell what kind of credit card or what company the card is from. It shows as DFS/WEBBANK. Who the heck is that anyway?? I've never heard of it. I only have 1 credit card & that's on the report as well with a $0 balance, which is correct, so I'm sure this is not mine. I haven't used a credit card from anywhere except the one that's paid off since before 2011. I can't use something I don't have!

Same thing happened to me

I had a random hard hit inquiry show up on my account a few months ago. Long story short, someone mailed in a paper application for a Babies R' Us credit card. I called Babies R' Us and notified them it was not me and they cancelled the application. Then I called all three credit bureaus and turned on the 90 day credit monitoring. They will notify you of any suspicious activity. As long as you can show it wasn't you, it shouldn't be a problem to remove it.

I don't belong to this Fitness club

My credit report says I owe 211 dollars for fitness connection, I don't have a membership there.  I called fitness connection's corporate office, they say they never heard of me and don't have me on file as a costomer, I then called the collections company and they tell me the same thing. So why is this on my credit report and how do I get it off of my credit report. ?
