How do I cancel a credit card without a card number?
I sent Discover a letter but I've never heard back. I know that the account goes back to 2002, but I never used the account and I don't owe anything. Still, it show on my report as an active account with a large limit.

Let it ride.  Even though you haven't used the account, the credit limit given and the time it's been in your name are all good things that help your credit score.  In time, Discover may cancel the card for non-use, but, in the meantime, enjoy the help it is giving you right now.
