How come my previous loans and mortgage aren't figured into my credit history??

Divorced Oct. 2015, original home's mortgage from 2001 was paid off by Sept 2014 & isn't included? From 2007-2014, I was still on the mortgage. A jointly held Visa card was active up to divorce, begun around 2004, I think. Seems like these two (absent) calculations have really dragged down my average age.

All previous accounts that are more than 7-10 years old become "ancient" history as far as credit scores go, and do not apply to your situation today. Potential creditors only go back so far to see one's more recent credit account history to make their decision to lend or not.
