If you don't already know about this, then it is an error and you'll have to take the steps to correct same.  Go to annualcreditreport.com and get all three credit reports.  Go over them thoroughly and file disputes on all errors with the credit bureau reporting them.  They then have to investigate and either verify or delete the entry.

It is not uncommon for credit reports to have errors since humans are entering the data and humans are far from perfect.

Make it a practice to check your credit reports every year so you can keep only your data in their records.
