If a lein was filed, it is going to be reported for 7 years because a tax lein is a legal action.  Even if it has been paid, it will still show as part of your credit history.  Please read the Articles on this site so you can learn all about such actions and how they affect you.  Credit Karma was set up to help people learn how credit works and what they need to do to have good credit.
