How can I have information removed from my credit report that is not accurate??

You may need to file a dispute

If the wrong information is shown on this site, then what I would do first, is to get my free credit report from TransUnion (this site pulls credit info from that bureau). Next, if the wrong information is still there, at the end of the free credit report, there is a number and address where to call or send a letter, requesting the change or removal of the wrong information.

You can get a free annual report for each one of the three credit bureaus on this webpage: https://www.annualcreditreport.com

i have and it is still there. i was told not to do again because it starts the process of over again.
