Get copies of all 3 CR's free, once a year at   annualcreditreport.com

They will list all your creditors with addresses and phone numbers.  I recomend that you only that you only contact them in writting.  If there are any creditors that you do not recognize as ever having an account with, Send them a "VAlidation Letter'  Google it for a template.  This will require them to prove that the account is yours. If they can't then they will remove the account from your report.  Once accounts are validated then write them and arrange for the pay offs, Always ask for a "Delete per pay" in writting prior to sending any money.  That will get them to remove the negitive comments from your report when the account is paid off. Otherwise the negitive comments can stay on your report for another 7 years.
