Patience

Your credit score isn't directly based off your income.  All you need to do is to responsibly pay off your credit balances when they're due.  For instance, if you have a credit card in your name (or you're authorized on your fiance's) that will be reflected in payment history.

The most important thing is to have a few accounts that are in your name that you are responsible for. Whether it's student loans, auto/home loans, or credit cards, having accounts is all you need to show you can be responsible for credit.  The companies don't care about how much you make, just that you're able to pay back what you've borrowed.
