Lenders are not obligated in any way to report accounts to the credit bureaus. Even if it were possible, it would not do you that much good if you are getting ready to pay it off. While paid off loans are good to have on your reports, they do not have as much impact to help your scores as open loans do. If you are serious about building your credit and having a brigher future, you will need to spend a lot of time reading about credit. The time that you spend will be well worth it, this credit stuff is important.
