Hard inquiries ..
I understand when applying for a credit card there's a hard inquiry ,can the other hard inquiries be removed from the credit reporting agencies that was not used to determine acceptance of credit or not ?

Inquiry

In short, no.

They will automatically roll off in 2 years.

In long, depending on the type of credit application.

If it's for a car loan, then you can have all the inquiries made within the same period of time rolled into "one" hard inquiry.  Sometimes you have to file a dispute with the reporting agency to do this.

Otherwise, if you applied for 3 different credit cards and were only accepted for one, those other two will remain for the full duration.
