The name of the company that did a Hard Inquiry on your credit will be listed on your credit reports. If the name is not there, no hard inquiry was done. If the name is there, google it, get their info and contact them to see what is going on. Or, contact the credit bureau reporting the inquiry, get the info from them or dispute the inquiry if you did not make it. Keep an eye on your reports for a while, closely, to make sure nothing else pops up.
