While in bankrupty, there is a stay on all activities that are associated with the bankrupty.   Thus, check the date as reported by the mortgage company on your credit report.  It should reflect the date of your last payment or the date they closed the account and referred it to collections.   A chapter 13 is a repayment bankrupty which remains on your credit report for a duration of 7 years from the date of discharge.  As the repayment process can take several years, this would mean the foreclosure of the mortgage would be off your credit in 7 years and the bankrupty would take just a tad bit longer depending upon the repayment period before they forgave the remainder of the amounts owed.
