Instead of a personal loan, which you will be paying interest on from the day you receive the funds, I  recommend doing a balance transfer card with 0% interest for no less than 12 months.  This will allow paying off the credit cards faster without wasting money paying interest.

The balance transfer helped my credit build.  I also advise taking the time to read the articles here so you can understand how credit really works.  That is what Credit Karma is here for,,,,teaching about credit.
