Does paying Court Judgment help my score?
I have a public record from feb. 2007 of a Court Judgment. Seeing as it will be 7 yrs in feb 2014 Will it help my credit if I pay it off before? Or should I just hold out for another year and let it fall off?

bg info: Was young, bad roommates, go evicted and stuck with the note. at the time I didn't realize what this was doing to my credit. Now I am trying to decide if it is worth $1200 dollars or if I should just wait for it to fall off since it is so close to 7 years.
