does my credit rating be affected if I close a few credit cards?
credit report rating when closing more than one credit card and does it effect my score?

It could, especially if you owe balances on most of your accounts. It could also help it if you close short term accounts and you do not carry a balance on any card.

It all depends on the numbers. By decreasing the number of accounts you also decrease your total credit limits which in turn increases your utilization (if you owe any balance at all.) You just have to run all the numbers. Keep your utilization below 20% and you should be fine. If closing accounts raises your utilization above 20% then most likely you are dong more harm than good.
