Do you like paying interest?

You will be charged interest or a "minimum finance charge" (often $.50) on such a low balance.  
 

Just pay the card in full and use it once in a while for small purchases that you'll pay in full when the statement arrives.  That will keep the cards active and show some usage, which is good for your credit score.

Thank you , I understand using the card once in a while and paying it off fully,

I was just trying to find a way of getting around that by leaving a +1 balance,

I did not know about minimum finace charge
