does an incorrect address. in my report mean someone is doing something deceptive?
Never lived out of new england, but both husband and I have the same CA address listed on our reports. Is this something to be concerned about for fraudulent reasons? I'm sure it should be removed, but beyond that should there be a concern?

Likely, there is someone with a similar name or a number on oine of the Social Security number entries was transposed.  Just check your credit reports every year and dispute all wrong entries with the credit bureau reporting them.

But both her and her husband have the same CA Address on their report.   If it was only one of their reports then I would say yeah a similar name or a wrong SSN entered,  but Both reports mmmmm.

Check over your Credit Reports and verify everything.   you might want to even call all your CC's and verify your information with them.   Wonder if one of the Credit Card companies had entered in a change of address on the wrong account.

Call Verify everything

then send off letters to have the address removed from all the credit bureaus.
