Do secured cards turn into unsecured cards?
Or do you actually reapply for unsecured card by same company? If so do some companies do the transition w/o reapplying?

Ok,

(Basing this off of the Capital One Secured Card) When you apply and get approved for a secured card it will be secured for probably the first year and a half to about two years. After that period it could automaticaly change to unsecured or you could even call and ask prior to it changing automaticaly, this is assuming though that you make all your payments on time and keep everything up to date. No reapplying necesary with them!
