Do I need to pay a debt that was sent to collections at least 7 years ago?
I closed an overdrawn bank account in 2006 and it was sent to a collections agency. It has now been at least 7 years and I have not paid the collections agency anything. Will that debt fall off my credit report now? I recently got another bill from the collections agency and was wondering if they would still ask for money after the 7 years statute of limitations.
