We on this forum do not know your financial situation, but my personal recommendation is to find ways to pay all bills without going for bankruptcy (since I did that once). There are articles to read and financial tools on this site to help you better understand credit and how to build and maintain a good credit score.  That is what Credit Karma is all about.  If you feel you might consider bankruptcy, find an attorney that offers free initial consultation on the first visit and LISTEN because you likely will be given advice on other things you might do to avoid going bankrupt.

Be advised, bankruptcy really does a number on your credit score for 10 years.
