Neither of those dates matter to the fall off date. The seven years starts from the DOFD (date of first delinquency), this date pertains to the original account, not the collection account. The DOFD is typically one month after you made the last payment on the original account. Make sure that you do some reading on "early exclusion" and the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) as well as the info may be helpful to you.
