Disputing charged off cards after receiving a 1099C
I received a 1099C for a charged off credit card from 2012. I filed and paid taxes on the amount specified. Can i now dispute the charge off to have it removed from my credit report?

you can try,  but 99.9% percent sure they will not remove the charge off on your credit report.

No, because this is still part of your credit history and will not vanish until 2019. That the amount was charged-off and you received a 1099C for thaty does notchange the fact that you had thoise accounts.
