Discover IT student Card.. Credit History
I have a credit score of 728 and have a short credit history of 6 months. I'm thinking of applying for a Discover Student Card but i do not want another hard enquiry to drop my credit score. Do you think i should wait or whats the best advice i can get?

What do you need the card for? Do you need more credit?

Since your credit history is so short, it's not going to hurt too much to open another card at this point - but only if you really need it. The hard inquiry will drop your score a few points, but it will eventually come back up because your will have a lower debt to credit ratio.

Try to avoid opening new credit once you've had your credit history going for a few years. And keep your oldest accounts open, even if you don't really use them.
