Current "Charge off" willing to "settle for less than balance owed" impact on credit
I have an excellent credit score despite a "charge off" in pace since 2013. The lender is willing to "settle for less than the balance owed". Will taking this offer lower my score? Will taking this offer make the 7 year fall off begin from the settlement date or will it still fall off 7 years from when it was charged off in 2013?

Settling may update the account and cause a hit.  You want to aim for removal.  Negotiate a pay for delete if possible.
