Not Unusual...

you score will often take a dip when you apply for new credit.  If you are approved, it should rebound once payments start being made on the account.  If not you may have to wait a little longer for a rebound because of the hard inquiry.  Be aware that you score flucuates when you do things with your credit.  It all has an impact one way or the other.   usually a dip followed by a rise.  Worry more about the long term rather than what your score is today,  Stay the course and it will all come out in the wash.

Good Luck!
