Credit Reporting and Bankruptcy
When filing bankruptcy there were only two debts included. However, when I reviewed my credit report it showed numerous credit cards (that already had 0 balances) reporting remarks as "closed/included in bankruptcy". These credit cards again were not included in the bankruptcy. On two separate occasions, I did send letters asking this question to all three agencies with no results. My question, is this a normal action that happens to have negative remarks even though they weren't part of a bankruptcy?
