Credit report research faulty
I have requested Equifax to research 3 hard inquiries form companies i do not recognize. The response from them states that the report is correct, yet when i call the company they have no record of any such inquiry. How do I correct this?

When you call the company you are probably just talking to a simple customer service rep that has no idea about the things you are talking about. If these inquiries truly are not yours, you need to check into this further to make sure that your identity was not stolen. It could possibly be a glitch in a system somewhere too, so don't be too worried yet. If they continue to jerk you around I advise that you call a consumer law attorney and also file some complaints with the Consumer protection bureau and the BBB.
