re: Credit Card Utilization

Helpful to 1 out of 1 people

Some utilization is better than none. Some say 5-10% is better than 0%. I usually pay a small bill every month with the credit cards that I don't use often so that a small amount continues to report. When I first started using credit karma I noticed that whenever I paid in full and a $0 balance was reported, then my score would drop.
