Freedom Debt Relief contacted the companies you owed an an attempt to negotiate with them on a payment plan and possible concessions on the amounts you owed.  They provided updated information on you to each firm they contacted.   The credit card companies now have your information and as they have not reached an agreement with Freedom, they are still trying to collect the money.  Freedom Debt Relief cannot cancel your debts no matter what your explanation for the hardship.  The same would apply if you applied for a credit card, everyone in the world that you owe would have access to your updated address.
