You should read the articles here to educate yourself. Consolidation cards with 15 to 21 month no interest require excellent credit. You must have your debt paid off in that time to avoid interest. There may also be transfer fees involved. Your goal needs to be paying these off completely, so you're no longer paying interest. Only charge what you can pay off every month. 

If an appliance breaks, you need new tires, an expensive vehicle repair; that's when you apply for a no interest card and get it paid off by the deadline.
