Since bankruptcy hurts your credit for TEN years after filing it, don't be so quick to jump into such a 'solution.'  Coming back out of it will take a lot of work since you will have to rebuild credit from the ground up.  Please re-read the articles provided by this site and, as already advised, check Dave Ramsey's site for sensible ideas on debt repayment.
