Collection Removal Difficulty
In January I pulled my reports, noticing a collection for a past apartment. I now have a letter, signed by the collection agency, to remove all record they've reported regarding the collection, that the funds have been satisfied on my behalf. I personally sent that letter to all three agencies - I can only assume the collection agency has as well. Thus far, the only bureau to follow through is Experian, removing the data entirely. Transunion and Equifax on the other hand have reported it as "paid/charge off" which is incorrect. I'm now having to redispute this information, wait another 30 days for response. Is this typical, for the crediting bureaus to completely disregard the request in the letter? This collection is holding me back from applying for a larger apartment as an expectant mother. Also, do you forsee any future issues I'll have in this dispute? I haven't been able to contact the collection agency over the weekend. But I'm willing to do anything I can do personally to help this move as smoothly as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help.
