Collection cannot be verified
I have a collection on my account, I have made multiple attempts to contact the collection agency, forwarded to their attorney, yet no one can provide me any proof, an index # or any documents showing the collection. I have asked for a bill or a way to remove it from my report and I keep getting delayed and ran around on. The telephone rep has told me 3 days in a row to call back the next day to see if they have found any information. I need this off my report immediately how can I remove it?! Dispute has not worked.

They have not sent you anything that can nprove this debt?  Most collection agencies can't.  So, you don't pay it.  Without this validation of debt, don't make any payments.  I advise reading the articles here so you can learn how credit works and can understand some of the lalws that benefit the consumer.  These will help you for the rest of your life.

Read the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) and contact a FDCPA attorney for a consult if you feel you need to.
