I am not really sure what you are asking, but hopefully the following can help you. If a debt collector will not respond to you, then sometimes it may be a good idea to dispute the accounts with the credit bureaus. Do some reading on "Pay For Delete Agreements" because that is what you want to get, you want the account removed and not just marked as paid. Simply paying a collection does not remove it's damage, you want to get the collection removed. It is also NEVER advisable to contact a collection agency until you have done thorough reading and have an understanding on how to deal with them.
