If A Debt That Is Very Old Say 6 Yrs And You Did Not Know It Was On Your Report Is It Wise To Contact The Collection Company Its Only A Two Hundred Dollar Debt And Pay It Or Just Wait Out The Time Isnt It Better TYo Just Pay?

wait, if you pay  it will remaIn another 7 years.  only exception is if you negotiate for a pay for delete program.

Hi

Is the debt valid? Can they prove that they own the debt? Is anything inaccurate on your report about it? How close to 7 years are you? You may be able to find a way to eliminate. As mentioned above, you should reseach pay for delete, but you may also want to contact a consumer attorney and see what they say about it. Whatever you do, do not contact the collection co until you are sure you researched all areas.
