collection acct remove due to length of time, help your score?
I have several collection accounts due to be removed in the next 3-4 month due to the length of time they are allowed to stay on your report, will that help raise my credit score? Do I have to ask for it to be removed or is it done by Equifax etc?

It will help your score, but don't be surprised if it's only a few points.  The older a negative account is, the less damage it does to your score.  You can write letters to all three credit bureaus and ask them to delete the outdated accounts if they don't fall off on their own.  Best of luck!
