Validation letter

Google it for a template and more info.

basicly you write a letter to the Credit Bureau asking them to verify the account and make them prove that it is your account and that they have all the legal paperwork to collect the account,  If they don't they will have to remove the account from your report.   Do Not contact the collection directly unless you are ready to pay off the account, Then write them with an "offer and compromise"  goog;le that too for more info.

Good luck
